Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on Monday inaugurated new commissioners, pledging to continue to work towards the development of the state despite challenges.
The governor, who spoke during the swearing-in ceremony on Monday at the Government House, Bauchi, said the new appointees were expected to bring new ideas and energy to their respective ministries.
The new commissioners include Dr. Sani Mohammed Dambam (Health), Zainab Babantakko (Women Affairs), Engineer Mohammed Abdulkadir (Commerce), and Dr. Ahmed Abdurrahman (Chief Security Adviser).
Governor Mohammed urged the new commissioners to be loyal and diligent, and to work towards achieving the goals of the administration.
Speaking on behalf of the new appointees, Zainab Babantakko thanked the governor for the trust placed in them and promised to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them.
