Bauchi Governor Launches Six-Year World Bank Livestock Project

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on Friday inaugurated a committee for the Six-Year World Bank Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project.

The project aims to modernize and rebrand veterinary clinics and abattoirs, boosting the state’s economy and transforming businesses.

Governor Mohammed expressed his administration’s commitment to collaborating with local and foreign investors and development partners for the benefit of the citizens.

He applauded the World Bank and the Federal Government for selecting Bauchi as a beneficiary state and pledged his support for the project’s success.

Prof. Simon Madugu Yalams, Chairman of the committee and Commissioner of Agriculture, commended Governor Mohammed for his foresight and outstanding performance in transforming the sector. He pledged to work closely with stakeholders to ensure the project’s successful implementation.
