Bauchi State Governor, Bala Muhammad, has issued a stern warning to residents against collaborating with bandits and their sponsors. He urged the people to support the government’s efforts in safeguarding the state from criminal elements.
The governor cautioned criminals to rethink their actions, stating that Bauchi would become a difficult place for them to operate. He made the remarks during the flag-off ceremony for the construction of township roads in Rimin Zayam and a bypass road in Nabardo, both in Toro Local Government Area.
Governor Muhammad highlighted the significance of the new roads, emphasizing their potential to improve infrastructure, boost economic activities, and foster social interaction in the affected communities.
The Emir of Bauchi, Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, commended the governor for his strong stance against criminality and called on residents to support the government’s peace and security initiatives.
The warning comes amidst a series of bandit attacks in neighboring states, including Zamfara and Kaduna.
