Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has assured that his administration will provide connectivity for agricultural markets and production hubs to enhance the livelihood of rural dwellers.
Speaking at the flag-off of the Akuyam-Gwaram-Hardawa road project on Wednesday, Mohammed said the project is part of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAM) aimed at constructing and maintaining rural road infrastructure.
The project, valued at over N23 billion, covers 115 kilometres across three senatorial districts and includes six agro-logistic centres.
Mohammed commended the World Bank, federal government, and other development partners for their support, assuring that the roads will be completed within the allocated timeframe.
