Bauchi State Partners With FG To Boost Healthcare Services

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has lauded the alliance with the Federal Government in the provision of effective healthcare services to the citizens, commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to the establishment of additional Teaching Hospitals.

Mohammed was speaking when he received in audience, a delegation of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare who were in Bauchi for facility tour.

While expressing delight for the promotion of the Federal Medical Centre Azare to Teaching Hospital and Misau General Hospital to Federal Medical Centre, Mohammed said his administration will continue to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to upgrade the sector, reiterating commitment toenhancing the provision of nutrition among others.

Earlier speaking, leader of the delegation and the Director, Teaching Hospitals of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Salahudden Olawole Jimoh, said the visit was to inspect the proposed centres in Azare and Misau respectively.

Jimoh commended Mohammed for upgrading the standard of facilities across the state, assuring him of the continued support of the FG.
