The Senator representing the Borno North senatorial district, Chairman Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Sen. Mohammed Tahir Monguno donates the sum of Ten Million Naira to the victims of Kalumari fire incident in Monguno.
It could be recalled that a couple of days ago, the Kalumari market of Monguno town was affected by a fire incident where valuables worth millions of naira were destroyed.
Monguno donated the said amount of money on Friday when he visited the market to witness the damages caused by the incident. In sympathizing with the victims, Sen. Monguno assured his support by donating Ten Million Naira and forwarding the issue to the national assembly for federal government intervention.
He added that he would put all hands on desks to restore the market and other ones with similar issues within the region to fast-track the economic growth in the senatorial district.
