
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has urged the Muslim Ummah to embrace the values of sacrifice, unity, and prayer as Nigeria navigates through critical times.
In his Eid El-Kabir message, Governor Fintiri congratulated Muslims for witnessing another season of reflection and renewal, calling on the faithful to draw inspiration from the exemplary obedience and devotion of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
“Eid El-Kabir is not just a time of festivity, but an opportunity to recommit ourselves to the values of sacrifice, honesty, dedication, and peace as we march towards a common destiny,” the governor said.
He emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, describing it as the foundation for sustainable unity and development in Adamawa State and the nation as a whole.
Governor Fintiri also called for intensified prayers for national peace, security, and prosperity, urging citizens to support the country’s progress through collective efforts and commitment.
While extending his best wishes to pilgrims from Adamawa performing the Hajj, he prayed for a successful Arafat and safe return.
He concluded by invoking divine protection over the lives of all citizens and wished everyone a peaceful and joyous Sallah celebration.
“Eid Mubarak,” the governor said.
