The first son of the late Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Shehu Mustapha Umar El-Kanemi, has sadly passed away.
Alhaji Baba Shehu Mustapha Umar El-Kanemi died on Saturday night at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) after a brief illness.
Until his death, he served as the District Head of Marte Local Government Area, Borno State.
His funeral prayer is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday evening at 4:00 pm at the family residence of the late Shehu Mustapha Umar El-Kanemi in Limanti Ward, near Budum Round About.
