
Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the appointment of a Special Adviser on Ethical Orientation and reconstituted the Board of the Gombe State House of Assembly Service Commission as part of efforts to strengthen governance and promote ethical standards in the state.
The approval was conveyed in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who said the development aligns with the administration’s commitment to enhancing institutional efficiency and reinforcing ethical conduct across government structures.
According to the statement, Mohammed Sa’idu Boltongo has been appointed as Special Adviser on Ethical Orientation.
In the same development, the governor approved the reconstitution of the Assembly Service Commission with Abubakar Sadiq Kurba as Chairman.
Other members of the commission include Yakubu A. Bajoga and Dahiru Mohammed Kala as full-time members.
The part-time members are Usman Umar, Nasiru Haruna Dukku and Maina Laban Binus.
All the appointments take immediate effect.
Governor Yahaya urged the newly appointed officials to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating experience, integrity and responsibility in the discharge of their duties.
