Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, attended the funeral of his late Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu Jalam (Me Kankana), in Jalam, and expressed his deep sorrow over the loss.
Governor Bala described Me Kankana as a dedicated and hardworking ally who made significant contributions to the growth of the PDP administration.
He extended his sympathies to the family and Jalam community, on behalf of the State Government, PDP, and the citizens of Bauchi State.
The Governor praised Me Kankana’s commitment to the state’s development and asked Allah to grant him Janna and give his family the courage to bear the loss. Top government functionaries and PDP leadership in Bauchi state also attended the funeral.
