
Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on Monday met with a delegation from the United States Embassy at the Bauchi Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, reaffirming the state’s commitment to strengthening global partnerships.
The delegation was led by the Acting Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr Tim Smith, and Political Officer, Ms Cassandra Carraway. The visit followed earlier engagements with the U.S. Ambassador.
Speaking during the meeting, Gov. Mohammed highlighted his administration’s key achievements since 2019, which include the execution of major infrastructure projects, expanded access to healthcare and education, and improved internally generated revenue through ongoing reforms.
He noted that Bauchi State remained open to international collaboration and used the opportunity to invite American investors to explore the state’s potential in agriculture, education, healthcare, and renewable energy.
The governor expressed confidence that partnerships with the U.S. government and private sector would contribute to sustainable development and economic growth in the state.
