
Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has reiterated his administration’s commitment to security, economic development, and good governance.
Mohammed stated this on Wednesday when he received participants of Course 9, 2025, from the Army War College of Nigeria at the Government House, Bauchi. He commended the delegation for choosing Bauchi for their study tour and assured that insights from their visit would contribute to strengthening the state’s security strategies.
The governor noted that Bauchi State has vast arable land, positioning it as a prime destination for agricultural investment. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to food security and sustainable development through strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
The delegation, led by the College Commandant, Maj.-Gen. Umar Mohammed Alkali, comprised officers from the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force, Nigerian Navy, and military personnel from across Africa.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Alkali lauded Mohammed’s proactive approach to security and acknowledged the state’s stability as a testament to his leadership.
The visit is expected to foster stronger collaboration between the state government and security agencies in addressing emerging security challenges.
