
Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed, has pledged continued support for security agencies in their efforts to protect lives and property.
Speaking at the 2024 Bauchi State Police Command End-of-Year Award Ceremony, where he was honored for his contributions to security, Governor Mohammed reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to collaboration with law enforcement agencies.
He commended the police command for effectively managing resources, particularly through the rehabilitation and utilization of existing vehicles, stressing that his government prioritizes accountability, transparency, and prudent resource management.
The governor also emphasized the importance of synergy between the government and security agencies in maintaining peace and order, assuring that his administration would continue to provide the necessary support to enhance security operations across the state.
Earlier, the Commissioner of Police, CP Auwal Muhammad Musa, highlighted the achievements of the Bauchi State Police Command, revealing that the command recorded 1,182 criminal cases and arrested 2,322 suspects in the past year. He attributed these successes to the dedication of officers and the government’s unwavering support for security initiatives.
