Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala AbdulKadir Mohammed, has been honored with two notable international awards: the African Project Icon and the Peace Ambassador Award.
According to Lawal Muazu Bauchi, New Media Aide to Bauchi Governor, these accolades recognize his commitment to promoting peace and sustainable development in the region.
The African Project Icon Award was presented by Dr. Amos Shelley of the American Academy for Project Management, West Africa, in recognition of the governor’s visionary leadership and significant strides in developmental projects.
Additionally, Ambassador Paul Daniel, State Coordinator of the Peace Ambassadors of Nigeria, commended Governor Mohammed for his efforts in maintaining peace and stability in Bauchi State.
Responding, Governor Mohammed expressed his heartfelt gratitude, dedicating the awards to the people of Bauchi State, his family and cabinet members.
Mohammed, however, called for continued support and prayers to sustain the progress.
