Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, hosted his classmates from the Class of 1971 for a reunion lunch at his residence in Bauchi on Friday.
The event was filled with joy and nostalgia as the governor and his former classmates reminisced about their childhood and shared fond memories of their primary school days.
Speaking at the event, Mohammed highlighted the significance of sustaining friendships, stressing how these early connections have positively shaped his life.
“Our time together as children instilled values of unity and respect, which have continued to guide me in life,” he said.
The governor also used the occasion to appreciate his classmates for their support and enduring bond over the years, adding that such reunions are vital for strengthening relationships.
