
Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to partnering with security agencies to ensure peace and stability in the state and its environs.
He made this known on Thursday when he received the outgoing Air Officer Commanding Special Operations Command, Nigerian Air Force Base Bauchi, Air Vice Marshal Eniobong Effiong, at the Government House.
Mohammed commended AVM Effiong for his contributions to security operations during his tenure, emphasizing the need for sustained efforts in combating crimes.
He charged the Nigerian Air Force to enhance air surveillance, particularly in border communities, in collaboration with other security agencies, to strengthen security and maintain peace across the state.
Responding, Air Vice Marshal Eniobong Effiong, expressed appreciation for the governor’s unwavering support during his tenure.
He assured Mohammed that the NAF would continue to collaborate with the Bauchi State government in promoting peace and security in the state and the country at large.
