
The Nigerian Navy has announced that the recruitment examination for applicants of the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 38 will hold on Saturday, 29 November 2025, across 30 designated centres nationwide.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Navy Secretary, who called on all successfully registered applicants to adhere strictly to the guidelines for the exercise.
According to the statement, the list of shortlisted candidates—including their assigned examination centres—has been published on the Navy recruitment portal at:
http://www.joinnigeriannavy.navy.mil.ng
Applicants are advised to visit the portal to confirm their status and examination centre ahead of the scheduled date.
The Navy emphasised that all shortlisted candidates must report at their designated centres by 7:00 a.m. on the examination day, warning that no candidate will be allowed to write the test at any centre other than the one indicated on the portal.
Candidates are required to come with the following compulsory items:
A printed copy of their Application Form showing their particulars
One coloured passport photograph
Writing materials (2B pencil and eraser)
The Navy Secretary noted that the examination is a crucial step in the recruitment process and reaffirmed the Navy’s commitment to a transparent, merit-based exercise aimed at strengthening the service’s operational capacity.
He urged candidates to comply fully with the instructions to ensure a smooth and orderly conduct of the examination.
