In a breakthrough in the fight against criminal activities, the police have arrested three members of the notorious ‘Shilla Boys’ gang in Mubi, Adamawa State.
According to a police report, the suspects – Muktari Aminu, 21, Ibrahim Abubakar, 25, and Suleiman Ili4ya, 23 – were arrested on May 4, 2024, after they attacked and robbed a 21-year-old student, Holy Ishyku, of her mobile phone along IJMB Road, Mubi.
The suspects, all residents of Mubi South and North, were apprehended by the police following a tip-off from the public.
The police have commended the public for their support and cooperation in the fight against crime, and have assured that they will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of all citizens.
