
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday received Mai Mala Buni and the Minister of Police Affairs, Ibrahim Gaidam, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where discussions focused on infrastructure development and security in Yobe State.
The meeting, held at the Presidential Villa, centred on strengthening collaboration between the Federal Government and the Yobe State Government to enhance infrastructural growth across the state.
According to a statement signed by the Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Yobe State Governor, Mamman Mohammed, the leaders also reviewed strategies to improve security as a foundation for sustainable development in the state.
The discussions highlighted the need for increased federal support to accelerate ongoing development projects and create a more secure environment for residents.
President Tinubu commended Governor Buni and Minister Gaidam for what he described as their commitment to the growth and development of Yobe State.
He reaffirmed the Federal Government’s readiness to support initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and strengthening security across the state.
Governor Buni and Minister Gaidam were said to have briefed the President on current developmental efforts and security challenges, while seeking continued federal partnership to sustain progress in the state.
