The management of the Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State, has announced plans to commence payment of backlog of promotion arrears for staff covering the 2020/2021 promotion exercise.
This was contained in an internal memo dated November 10, 2025, and signed by the Bursar of the institution.
According to the memo, the payment process is about to begin, and affected staff are advised to ensure that any pending issues regarding their arrears are promptly addressed.
The Bursar urged members of staff who fall within the 2020/2021 promotion category but are yet to receive their arrears, possibly due to error or omission, to submit letters of complaint to the Office of the Bursar for necessary redress.
“All concerned staff are to treat this information with urgency,” the memo stated.
The initiative is part of the university’s effort to clear outstanding financial obligations and ensure fairness in the implementation of staff entitlements.
