
The Borno State Senior Secondary Education Board has announced the commencement of recruitment of qualified teachers into public senior secondary schools across the state.
The board, in an official advertisement, signed by the Board Secretary, Malah Abatcha, invited suitably qualified candidates interested in building a career in the teaching profession to apply for the exercise.
According to the notice, applicants must be graduates of recognised higher institutions and must not be above 50 years of age. Candidates are also required to possess qualifications such as NCE, HND, B.Sc., B.A., B.Ed., or B.Sc. (Education), alongside a valid National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
The board stated that applicants must be willing to serve in any Local Government Area of Borno State and be eligible for registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
It added that possession of relevant teaching experience, a Professional Diploma in Education (PGDE) or equivalent qualification, as well as certified computer literacy, would be considered an added advantage.
The board explained that all applications must be submitted online through its official portal at https://www.moestibornostate.com.ng.
It further disclosed that the application portal would be open from Monday, Feb. 9, to Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026.
