Bauchi Gov Sacks Commissioner, Reshuffles Cabinet

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has sacked the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima.

The decision, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement issued on Monday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado.

According to the statement, the action is part of the administration’s resolve to periodically reshuffle its cabinet in order to inject fresh ideas, strengthen governance and reposition the government for improved service delivery across the state.

Governor Mohammed appreciated Galadima for his contributions to the state during his tenure and wished him success in his future endeavours.

He also reassured the people of Bauchi State of his administration’s continued commitment to peace, security and good governance.

The statement added that a replacement for the sacked commissioner would be announced in due course.
