The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has opened its staff recruitment portal, inviting qualified candidates to apply for available academic and non-academic positions in the institution.
Information from the university on Tuesday indicated that the recruitment process requires applicants to create an online account, complete their personal profiles, upload relevant documents, and await review by the institution at https://employee.umstad.online/ .
According to the guidelines, candidates seeking academic positions must possess a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field, evidence of research and publications, teaching experience at the university level, and a valid National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate.
Applicants for non-academic positions are required to have relevant educational qualifications, professional certifications where applicable, relevant work experience, and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
The university further stated that all applicants must possess the required qualifications before the closing date of the application and will be required to present original copies of their credentials during the interview process.
Required documents include a passport photograph, birth certificate or declaration of age, indigene certificate, national identification or international passport, primary school certificate, O’Level certificate, tertiary institution certificates, and NYSC discharge certificate.
