Police Fix date for Constable Exam, Release Step-by-Step Guide, Portal Access Details

The Police Service Commission (PSC) has fixed April 28 to 30, 2026, for the written examination of police constable applicants and released a step-by-step guide, including portal access instructions, to help candidates prepare and avoid scams.
The commission disclosed this in a statement issued by its Head of Protocol and Public Affairs, Torty Njoku Kalu, noting that the examination would be conducted in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force at designated centres across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
According to the statement, only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening would be eligible to sit the examination.
PSC advised qualified applicants to log into the official recruitment portal beginning Friday, April 24, 2026, to print their examination invitation cards, which contain details of the date, time and venue.
