The Governor of Yobe State, Hon Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of several individuals as Focal Persons and Project Coordinators to spearhead key initiatives within the state.
Shuaibu Abdullahi, the Press Secretary to the Government of the State, announced these appointments on Thursday.
The appointed officials are as follows:
1. Mulima Idi Mato – Focal Person for Accelerated Senior Secondary School Education.
2. Arch. Musa Sule Damagum – Project Coordinator for Rural Access and Agric Marketing Project.
3. Prof. Umar Lawan Yusufari – In charge of the IDICE (Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise) Programme aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and supporting tech-enabled startups with financial assistance.
4. Modu Maaji Ajiri mni – Project Coordinator for the Special Agro Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) Programme.
5. Adamu Audu – SDG Project Coordinator.
6. Idriss Muhammad Yaro – Responsible for the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA).
These appointments are effective immediately, signaling a proactive approach by the Yobe State government in driving various projects and programs aimed at enhancing education, agriculture, entrepreneurship, industrial development, and sustainable growth within the state.
