Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, is in mourning following the sudden death of his close associate and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ahmed Aliyu Jalam (aka Me Kankana).
Jalam met a tragic end in a car accident along the Bauchi-Jalam road on Saturday, leaving the Governor and the entire state in shock and grief.
Governor Bala described the late Commissioner as a dedicated and tireless worker who was deeply committed to the growth of the PDP administration.
The Governor expressed that Jalam’s passing has created a profound emptiness in the state, and his absence will be deeply felt.
The late Commissioner’s funeral (Janaza) is scheduled to take place in his hometown, Jalam, Dambam Local Government Area, at 11 am tomorrow.
