The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Jalal Ahmed Arabi, has praised the efforts of the Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, led by Executive Secretary Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan, for their dedication, hard work, and the application of their knowledge, skills, and experience during the Hajj exercise.
He made the commendation when he paid a visit to the Gombe State pilgrims at the Mina Hajj Camp.
Alhaji Arabi acknowledged the Gombe pilgrims for their obedience, patience, and perseverance throughout the Hajj exercise.
He emphasized that the purpose of his visit was to assess the improvements made, interact with the pilgrims to hear their feedback, and collectively identify any challenges encountered during the exercise.
He also discussed ways to enhance the overall Hajj experience and strengthen collaboration and coordination between NAHCON and the Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board aimed at addressing any issues or concerns related to the welfare of the pilgrims.
In his remarks, Executive Secretary of the Gombe State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to effective service delivery. He urged the Gombe State pilgrims to avoid anything that could detract from their spiritual exercise, wishing them a hitch-free Hajj.
Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan also expressed his appreciation to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for his support, exemplary leadership, and the laudable achievements recorded during this year’s Hajj operation.
