Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has emphasized the need for cooperation between stakeholders and governments to restore educational institutions and curricula for societal advancement.
He made this statement while receiving the governing councils of the Federal University of Health and Sciences Azare and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi at the Bauchi Government House on Tuesday.
Governor Bala expressed concerns about youth unemployment and social vices, highlighting the need to update curricula to reflect current technological advancements. He stressed the importance of partnerships between universities and the government to address these issues.
Representatives of the federal universities commended Governor Mohammed for his administration’s policies and initiatives, particularly those addressing out-of-school syndrome. They assured him of their continued support for a better society.
