Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has clarified his recent comment on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating it was not intended as a slight.
He emphasized that his words reflected the views of the masses, and the opposition serves as a mirror of public opinion.
During a courtesy visit from the Minister of Works and Transport, David Umahi, on Thursday, Governor Mohammed pledged to support the Federal Government’s projects in the state, including the rehabilitation and construction of federal roads. He commended the FG’s efforts and described the Minister as “industrious and imaginative”.
Minister Umahi applauded Governor Mohammed’s legacies and landmarks, particularly his projects as FCT Minister, and his commitment to Nigeria’s unity. He assured that President Tinubu is working to alleviate Nigerians’ suffering and called for continued support and prayers.
The Minister also inspected the Jos-Akwanga-Bauchi road project, warning that the FG will take decisive action against contractors not on site.
