A delegation from the Defense Research and Development Bureau (DRDB), led by Air Vice Marshal B.A. Sani, Director of Logistics, visited Bauchi State to collaborate with the state government on the establishment of a research center.
The team engaged with state officials to identify a suitable site for the center, which aims to advance research and development (R&D) initiatives that contribute to national progress. The proposed center is expected to foster innovation, enhance defense capabilities, and promote technological advancements at both state and national levels.
Governor Bala Mohammed who welcomed the collaboration on Tuesday, highlighted the state’s commitment to supporting strategic projects that align with national security and development goals.
The establishment of the research center is poised to bring significant benefits to Bauchi State, including job creation, capacity building, and increased investment in R&D infrastructure.
