Yobe Governor Appoints Over 200 Youths as SSAs, SAs, Others

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has approved the appointment of over 200 youths as Focal Persons, Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), Special Assistants (SAs), and Technical Assistants on Media.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Digital and Strategic Communications, Yusuf Ali.

According to the statement, the appointments underscore Governor Buni’s commitment to youth inclusion in governance and leveraging their innovative ideas to strengthen the administration’s communication strategies.

“The appointments reflect the administration’s resolve to provide opportunities for young talents to contribute to the development of Yobe State,” the statement read.

Ali described the move as unprecedented, adding that it further demonstrates Governor Buni’s leadership style, which prioritizes inclusion, innovation, and human capital development.

He noted that the appointees are expected to assume their duties immediately, bringing fresh perspectives and energy to the state government’s media and communication efforts.
