Operation Hadin Kai has banned the use of the Damaturu – Buni Gari – Biu road for all personnel except under military escort due to security concerns.
A statement issued on Thursday urged troops and authorized personnel to use the Damaturu – Potiskum – Gombe – Biu route as an alternative until the situation stabilizes.
The military advised all personnel to comply with the directive and refrain from taking shortcuts for safety reasons.
The statement also urged the public to disseminate the information to those intending to travel on the affected route.
