Yobe Govt Assists Family Blessed with Quadruplets

The Yobe State Government has pledged full support to a family in Fika Local Government Area recently blessed with quadruplets.

The Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) said in a statement on Tuesday that it had mobilised immediate assistance in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, community leaders and local authorities.

The agency said its intervention would include full rehabilitation and livelihood support for the family, as well as coverage of all medical expenses not already provided under the state’s free healthcare services.

According to the statement, N500,000 has already been deposited by SEMA to initiate the support package.

It added that Local Emergency Management Committee teams in Fika and Potiskum had been mobilised to ensure swift delivery of aid and continuous follow-up.

SEMA described the arrival of the quadruplets as “a blessing to humanity” and called on well-meaning individuals and organisations to support the family.
