Presidential Honour: Fintiri Wins Best Governor In Digital Transformation Award

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has been named the Best Governor in Digital Transformation 2025, at the Nigeria GovTech Awards held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Saturday night.

The award, which recognises innovation and excellence in governance through technology, was received on his behalf by the First Lady of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Fintiri.

Organised to celebrate public sector leaders driving digital governance across Nigeria, the prestigious GovTech Awards honoured Governor Fintiri for his administration’s outstanding commitment to deploying technology to improve governance, public service delivery, and transparency in Adamawa State.

In his absence, the First Lady expressed gratitude to the organisers and reaffirmed the governor’s commitment to leveraging digital tools for inclusive development.

Governor Fintiri’s administration has been widely acknowledged for pioneering e-governance initiatives, digitalising civil service operations, and implementing ICT-driven reforms in education, healthcare, and financial management.
