The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has issued an important update to student loan applicants experiencing challenges with their upkeep payments.
In a statement on Thursday, the agency announced that applicants can now reset and update their account details on the official Student Loan Portal to resolve payment-related issues.
“Students who have encountered difficulties receiving their upkeep allowances are advised to log in to the Student Loan Portal and correct their account details immediately to ensure smooth payment processing,” the statement said.
NELFUND noted that the update was introduced to enhance transparency and efficiency in disbursement under the Federal Government’s Student Loan Scheme.
It also reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that all eligible students access their funds without delays.
The Fund encouraged affected applicants to act promptly, adding that timely updates would help fast-track payment and prevent further inconvenience.
