No fewer than six aspirants have so far obtained nomination forms to contest for the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the party’s primaries in Adamawa State.

The aspirants, drawn from different political zones of the state, include Ahmed Tijjani Galadima, Abdulrahman Haske, Salihu Bakari Girei, and Bello Ibrahim Thul from the Central Zone.
From the Southern Zone, Abdulrazaq Namdas and Chief Bilishan F. Tangwami have also joined the contest, bringing the total number of form buyers so far to six.
Party sources said the purchase of forms marks the beginning of heightened political activities within the APC ahead of the forthcoming governorship primaries.
