Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting and empowering young individuals in various fields to achieve their goals.
The governor made this pledge on Tuesday when he received Ibrahim Mohammed Nasir, the Gwarzon Shekara in Quranic recitation, who secured second position in the World Quranic Recitation Competition held in Saudi Arabia.
Governor Mohammed congratulated Nasir and two other Quranic reciters for bringing honor to Bauchi State and Nigeria, assuring them of his continued support. He urged them to focus on their studies for sustainable growth and development.
The governor has awarded scholarships to the three reciters to study in India, facilitated by the State Commissioner of Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation, Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza.
Hamza commended Governor Mohammed for his generosity, noting that all necessary expenses for the students’ success have been covered.
