
The Tertiary Institution Staff Support Fund (TISSF) application portal is now fully operational. Both new applicants and those whose previous application status showed “Disbursement in Progress” can now access the portal and complete their applications.
Step-by-Step Process for New and Returning Applicants
* Step 1: Use Google Chrome
Open the Google Chrome browser.
Update Chrome to the latest version if necessary.
Clear your browsing history, cache and cookies before starting the application.
* Step 2: Visit the TISSF Portal
Log in through either of the following portals:

* Step 3: Start Your Application
Click ” Take Application” to begin a new application.
Fill in the required information accurately and upload all requested documents.
* Step 4: If You Receive an Error Message
If the portal displays “NIN already exists” or any similar error:
Return to the Apply menu.
Select Returning Applicant.
Enter the phone number you used when you first started the application.
Continue and complete your application from where you stopped.
* Step 5: Review and Submit
Carefully review all the information provided.
Submit your application and keep your confirmation details for future reference.
All applicants whose application status previously showed “Disbursement in Progress” are advised to log in and reapply for the TISSF loan, as the application portal is now fully operational for them.
If during application after registering your NIN, you receive a message stating that your NIN already exists, return to the Apply menu, select the Returning Applicant option, and enter your registered phone number to continue your application.
Applicants are also expected to upload the following documents as requirements for the staff loan application
* Employment letter
* Valid Institution ID Card
* Membership of your staff association or Payslip
* Statement of bank account (last 6 months)
Applicants are advised to ensure that all information provided is accurate to avoid delays in processing.
