Dr. Abubakar Hamidu Kara has been appointed as the Managing Director of Mambilla Beverages Nigeria Limited.
The appointment was announced by the management of Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo, in a statement issued by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunday Paul Bako, on behalf of the university community.
Dr. Kara, an indigene of Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State, is a lecturer in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, where he specializes in Agricultural Economics and Extension. According to the statement, his appointment reflects his academic excellence, professionalism and years of dedicated service.
The university noted that the new role aligns with Dr. Kara’s expertise and experience, particularly in agricultural development and value-chain management, which are critical to the operations of Mambilla Beverages Nigeria Limited.
Professor Bako also acknowledged the role of the Taraba State Government in the appointment, commending Governor Agbu Kefas for his foresight and confidence in indigenous professionals to drive economic and industrial growth in the state.
