Fintiri Directs Cancellation of 2025 CSC Appointment Letters, Orders Reversion to Original List

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has directed the immediate cancellation of all appointment letters earlier issued under the 2025 Civil Service Commission (CSC) recruitment exercise, citing the need to uphold due process, transparency and fairness.

The directive, conveyed through the Adamawa State Civil Service Commission, affects all appointment letters already issued, including those not yet collected by applicants.

Governor Fintiri also ordered the Commission to revert to the original list of successful candidates that was earlier published online, following reports of alleged insertions and omissions in the recruitment process.

He further directed a comprehensive investigation into the irregularities to determine how the process was compromised.

According to the Commission, the Governor’s decision is aimed at preserving the integrity of the state’s civil service recruitment and ensuring that only duly qualified and legitimately selected candidates are appointed.

The Civil Service Commission assured applicants and the general public that further details regarding the issuance and collection of new appointment letters would be announced in due course.

Applicants were advised to disregard any unofficial information and to rely solely on the Commission’s official platforms for updates.

For verified information, members of the public are urged to visit the Commission’s website at http://www.cac.ad,gov.ng or http://www.cac.adamawastate.gov.ng, particularly the press release section, which remains the Commission’s only authorized channel of communication.
