Kefas Participates in Taraba Governorship Primary in Wukari

Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, on Thursday participated in the governorship primary election held at the Hospital Ward polling unit in Wukari Local Government Area of the state.

The exercise, conducted through the counting of voters, commenced with Governor Kefas being counted first by the ward Returning Officer at Nuru Islam Primary School, Wukari, the designated venue for the Hospital Ward primary election.

The exercise attracted a large turnout of supporters and party faithful, with thousands of residents gathering at the venue carrying posters of the governor and chanting slogans in support of his administration.

Speaking shortly after the exercise, Governor Kefas expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the people during the election process.

He said the excitement and enthusiasm displayed by residents reflected their confidence and satisfaction with the performance of his administration over the past months.

The governor highlighted achievements recorded by his administration in critical sectors of the economy and assured the people that the state would continue to witness positive transformation and development.

According to him, his administration remains committed to implementing programmes and policies aimed at improving the welfare and living conditions of the people across the state.

Governor Kefas also stressed that the protection of lives and property remains the primary responsibility of government, noting that his administration has continued to prioritise security in order to create an enabling environment for development throughout the state.

The primary election was conducted peacefully under the supervision of party officials and security personnel.
