The Bauchi State government has officially announced the appointment of Auwal Musa Gotel as the Chairman of Wikki Tourists, a Nigeria National League team.
Gotel, who previously held an interim position overseeing the Bauchi Elephants, now takes the helm at Wikki Tourists. Joining him on the newly appointed management committee are Umar Saidu, Dauda M. Chiroma, Lawal Garba Dass, Sadiq Yusuf, and Alhassan I. Muhammed, with Sa’adu Chadi appointed as the secretary.
Governor Bala Muhammed confirmed these appointments in a statement addressed to the club, emphasizing that the selections were made based on merit.
Wikki Tourists are currently in the midst of a fierce battle to secure a spot in the NNL playoffs, occupying the second position on the NNL table with 23 points.
