Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has appealed to citizens to refrain from encroaching on lands and forests, assuring that his administration is working to improve their well-being.
Mohammed made the plea on Thursday during the flag-off of the 25.88km Mainamaji-Badara, Kuka-Pali road project, emphasizing the need for unity and collective effort to enhance the lives of citizens.
He pledged to continue constructing township roads, renovating and upgrading general hospitals, and providing dividends of democracy.
The governor also vowed to tackle the out-of-school syndrome through a partnership with the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE), promising to employ thousands of teachers to address unemployment and restiveness.
The road project, supported by the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) and the World Bank, aims to ease the burden on motorists and farmers, promoting economic growth and development in Bauchi State.
