Governor Bala Pledges More Development as He Hosts Bauchi Bankers Committe

Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed, has reaffirmed his commitment to infrastructural development while receiving the Bauchi Bankers Committee at the Government House, Monday.

Speaking, Mohammed commended all 17 banks operating in the state for their professionalism and excellence, expressing gratitude for the recognition, stating that it serves as motivation to intensify efforts in governance.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to executing more infrastructural projects in education, healthcare, and other key sectors to enhance development. 

Mohammed urged the banks to continue supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), emphasizing his administration’s dedication to fostering partnerships for economic growth.

He, however, noted that his administration has developed a robust security framework to enhance safety and deepen community engagement.

He called on the banks to collaborate with the state government in sanitizing the payroll system to eliminate ghost workers, ensuring transparency and efficiency in public service. 

Earlier, the representatives of the Bauchi Bankers Committee stated that the award presented to the governor was in recognition of his impactful leadership and dedication to the welfare of the citizenry.

They thanked Mohammed for creating a conducive environment for banks to operate in the state and pledged their commitment to transparency and ethical conduct for improved service delivery.
