Apply: Adamawa Opens Recruitment Portal to Employ 4,000 Job Seekers

The Adamawa Government has approved the recruitment of 4,000 job seekers into the state’s workforce.

Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri gave the directive to the State Civil Service Commission to open a recruitment portal for the exercise.

This is contained in a statement issued in Yola on Monday by Humwashi Wonosikou, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.

According to the statement, the recruitment exercise will fill vacancies across various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

It said the portal would be open from midnight on Tuesday, April 29, to May 12, 2025.

The statement added that eligible candidates must possess relevant qualifications and present original copies of their credentials during the interview.

It further said that candidates who participated in the last aborted interview exercise were eligible to reapply.

Fintiri reiterated the commitment of his administration to improving the living standards of citizens, particularly the youth.

“This initiative aims to enhance living standards, empower the younger generation and foster economic growth and development,” the statement quoted Fintiri as saying.

The governor assured that his administration would continue to prioritise job creation to reduce unemployment in the state.
