The wives of the 21 Local Government Area (LGA) Chairmen in Adamawa State have congratulated the First Lady, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, on her recent recognition for humanitarian service.

Hajiya Lami was conferred with the Healthcare and Grassroots Empowerment Humanitarian Award by the Humanitarian Award, Magazine and Summit, for her contributions to the welfare of women, children, and families across the state.

Leading the delegation on a courtesy visit was Hajiya Rasheeda Suleiman, wife of the ALGON Chairman and Chairman of Toungo LGA. She conveyed the group’s appreciation and admiration for the First Lady’s tireless efforts in promoting health and empowering communities at the grassroots level.

According to her, the award reflects the positive impact of Hajiya Lami’s numerous humanitarian initiatives in Adamawa.

In her remarks, Hajiya Lami expressed gratitude for the visit and said the honour was not for her alone, but a shared achievement for all residents of the state.

She acknowledged the steadfast support of her husband, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, attributing her successes to his leadership and encouragement.

“This award is a victory for the people of Adamawa. I could not have achieved this without the support of my husband and the collaboration of all stakeholders,” she said.

The visit concluded with the formal presentation of the award, symbolizing solidarity among women leaders and reinforcing the ongoing partnership toward community development in the state.
