Speaking at the State Executive Council meeting held at the Government House in Bauchi on Monday, the governor said the state government is aware of alleged plans by certain individuals to disrupt the event and will not tolerate any act capable of undermining its success.
He described the summit, tagged #InvestInBauchiSummit, as a major step in promoting the state’s economic potential and attracting both local and foreign investment.
“This summit is a milestone initiative for Bauchi State. Any attempt to sabotage it will be met with decisive action,” he said.
Mohammed urged members of the council and citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity that could pose a threat to the peaceful conduct of the summit.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to maintaining law and order throughout the summit and to ensuring that the event achieves its objective of driving development and economic transformation in the state.
“Bauchi will not allow detractors to derail its progress,” the governor added.
The summit is expected to bring together investors, development partners, policy experts, and government officials to explore investment opportunities across key sectors in Bauchi State.
