
The Adamawa State Scholarship Trust Fund, Yola, in partnership with MTN Nigeria Foundation, has invited interested and qualified students to apply for the 2026 MTN Foundation Scholarship Programme.
The scholarship scheme, according to the management of the Trust Fund, is aimed at supporting academically outstanding students from Adamawa State pursuing higher education in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
The programme is divided into two categories: the MTN Science and Technology Scholarships and the MTN Scholarship for Blind Students.
Under the Science and Technology category, applicants must be indigenes of Adamawa State and currently enrolled in a university.
Eligible candidates are expected to be studying Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics-related courses and must be in 300 Level and above. Medical students applying under the category must be in 400 Level and above.
Applicants are also required to possess a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0.
For the Scholarship for Blind Students category, applicants must equally be indigenes of Adamawa State and students of tertiary institutions.
Unlike the Science and Technology category, students from all fields of study are eligible to apply, provided they are in 200 Level and above with a minimum CGPA of 2.5.
The management stated that interested and qualified students can submit their applications through the official MTN scholarship portal.
Applications for the scholarship programme opened on April 27, 2026, and will close on May 31, 2026.
