APC Unveils Consensus Candidates for Borno North Assembly Seats

The All Progressives Congress has unveiled its consensus candidates for the forthcoming State House of Assembly elections across the 10 constituencies in Borno North Senatorial District.

The list, released in an update tagged “Borno North,” featured both returning lawmakers and newly emerging candidates expected to fly the party’s flag in the next general elections.

Among the returning members is the Speaker of the Borno State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abdulkareem Lawan, who emerged as the consensus candidate for Guzamala State Constituency.

Others returning include Hon. Gubo Moruma for Gubio State Constituency, Hon. Karta Maina Maaji Lawan for Kukawa State Constituency, Hon. Sheikh Mohammed Ali Gajiram for Nganzai State Constituency, and Hon. Engr. Mohammed Gambomi for Marte State Constituency.

The party also announced new consensus candidates for five constituencies.

They include Hon. Mohammed Alhaji Bukar Kolo for Magumeri State Constituency, Hon. Mustapha Daima for Kaga State Constituency, Hon. Mustapha Kawu for Abadam State Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Bulama Sallah for Mobbar State Constituency, and Hon. Modu Makinta Zulum for Monguno State Constituency.

Party supporters and stakeholders congratulated the candidates on their emergence, expressing optimism that the APC would record victory in the forthcoming elections across the district.

The announcement concluded with prayers for divine guidance and success for the candidates as they prepare for the polls.
