
The All Progressives Congress in Adamawa has announced the winners of its National Assembly primary elections conducted across federal constituencies in the state.
The party, in an official statement issued by its Adamawa State chapter on Saturday, said the primaries were successfully conducted ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
According to the statement, Hon. Aliyu Boya Wakili emerged as the party’s candidate for Fufore/Song Federal Constituency, while Hon. James Shuaibu Barka secured the ticket for Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency.
It added that Dr. Nyampa Dauda Zakaria emerged candidate for Michika/Madagali Federal Constituency, while Engr. Ramatu Bello clinched the ticket for Mubi North/Mubi South/Maiha Federal Constituency.
The party also announced Hon. Kwamoti B. Laori as winner of the Numan Federal Constituency primary.
For Jada/Ganye/Mayo Belwa/Toungo Federal Constituency, the APC declared Hon. Suleman Ahmed GK Jagamato as its candidate.
Similarly, Hon. Golfa Mallam emerged candidate for Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency, while Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad (Y2G) secured the party’s ticket for Yola North/Yola South/Girei Federal Constituency.
The party congratulated all successful candidates and called for unity among members ahead of the general elections.
“We pray for unity, progress and victory for our great party, the APC, in the forthcoming elections,” the statement said.
